Vanilla Cookies
Annemarie's famous Christmas Cookies
Ingredients
- 250 g (1⅛ cup) Butter
- 250 g (1¼ cup) Sugar
- 340 g (2 cups) Flour
- 2 tsp Hirschhornsalz (ammonium carbonate) aka: baker's ammonia
- 1 ea Vanilla Bean cut bean open with a knife and remove Vanilla beans
Instructions
- Knead all ingredients together.
- Form little (1/2") balls and place on cookie sheet.
- Make a little dent in the center of each ball with your finger.
- Bake at 275-300ºF for 10 -12 min
